DELRAY BEACH – Fasil Malik has produced some noteworthy shows of late in his Spill The Beans series.

Saturday’s show may be the best yet.

Dean Napolitano makes the short trek south from Central Florida to headline Saturday’s show at Undergrounds Coffeehaus in Fort Lauderdale.

A veteran comic and storyteller who wrote, produced and stars in his one man show The Bart Drive Boys, Napolitano is a regular performer in South Florida and always seems to deliver entertaining sets. His humor is intelligent and relatable.

Anytime Napolitano comes to South Florida he’s worth seeing. Catching him on Saturday is a must in part because the whole show should be entertaining. Local favorite Nadeem Awad is the feature comic. It’s a pretty good bet he won’t be riding Brightline to the show.

Malik will do a spot, but he’s handing the hosting duties to the more-than-capable Warren Scott.

Undergrounds shows are generally stocked with positive energy. With seating limited to 40 people in the intimate room, fans are right on top of the comics.

Tickets are $15 in advance through Eventbrite, $20 at the door. It’s a BYOB show for comedy fans 21 years old and older.

APPLAUSE PLANNER – Plan On It

TUESDAY, MARCH 8
Esther Ku – Winehouse Social, Delray Beach
Esther Ku is actually headlining two Palm Beach County shows this weekend, beginning with this show in downtown Delray Beach. Ku has appeared on “Last Comic Standing” and is the host of Ku and the Gang podcast – one of the nation’s top comedy podcasts. The Winehouse has quickly blossomed into a great setting for comedy. Chris Roe, Angie Beaglemanm, Danny Fineman and Nadeem Awad are also scheduled to perform, with David Sadman serving as host. The free show begins at 8 p.m. Can’t catch this show? Ku, Awad and Sadman will be at it again on Thursday at the Biergarten in Boca Raton.

THURSDAY, MARCH 10
Colin Quinn, Broward Center for the Performing Arts, Fort Lauderdale
Veteran comic and former Saturday Night Live cast member Colin Quinn is once again on tour, and he’s about to hit South Florida. From MTV’s “Remote Control” to SNL to Comedy Central’s “Tough Crowd with Colin Quinn,” Quinn has been a comedic force for decades. FRIDAY, MARCH 11
Victoria Jackson, Palm Beach Kennel Club, West Palm Beach
The second show of the week headlined by a former Saturday Night Live cast member takes place at the dog track. Technically it’s the Paddock Club within the Palm Beach Kennel club – a venue that’s brought an impressive list of comics to West Palm Beach in recent months. Victoria Jackson spent six seasons on SNL and made 20 appearances on “The Tonight Show” starring Johnny Carson. A Floridian, Jackson doesn’t perform stand-up as frequently as she did in decades past, so fans may want to jump at the chance to see her on stage again. Ticket prices for the 8 p.m. show begin at $25.

Nadeem Awad – Mixx, Boca Raton
Nadeem Awad has a busy week. He’ll be headlining or featuring every night from Tuesday through Saturday. On this night he’s headlining. David Sadman and Anthony Terzo are the co-features on the night. Freddy Finnerty and Mike Cintron are also scheduled to perform. Tickets for the 8 p.m. show are $15 in advance, $20 at the door.
