DELRAY BEACH – Comic Jennifer Hellman doesn’t produce many shows.

Nowadays, when she does produce a show, South Florida should pay attention.

Case in point: Friday’s show at the Farmer’s Table in North Palm Beach.

Hellman is bringing reigning Florida’s Funniest Comic Cam Bertrand, who gained national attention for his appearance on America’s Got Talent, back to South Florida. Bertrand’s southern charm and easy delivery draws audiences into his offbeat world.

The Friday, Aug. 12 show is part of Hellman’s Lettuce Laugh series, which benefits the Comics Crushing Cancer Charity. So what will assuredly be a fun night also benefits a good cause.

Mike Tooney is also scheduled to perform, with Hellman serving as host.

Tickets for the night, which includes some cool raffle prizes, are $30. The show begins at 8 p.m.
