"Cobra Kai's" Cousin Louie is back in South Florida, performing forming stand-up to benefit a good cause.

DELRAY BEACH – Bret Ernst is in demand.

Luckily for South Floridians, Ernst has ties to the Sunshine State.

Ernst is back in South Florida this week, and he’s taking the stage to benefit a good cause.

Ernst is headlining Jennifer Hellman’s Lettuce Laugh show on Friday at the Farmer’s Table in North Palm Beach benefiting Comics Crushing Cancer charity.

Less than a month ago Ernst released his second full-length comedy special, “Domesticated Animal,” on YouTube. His first YouTube special, “Principal’s Office,” boasts more than 4 million views since its 2018 release.

Ernst is also gaining national notoriety for acting thanks to his portrayal of Cousin Louie on the Netflix series “Cobra Kai.”

Mindo Mo is the night’s feature comic, with Hellman serving as host. Tickets for the 8 p.m. show are $30.

Friday figures to be a hilarious night benefiting a great case.


Colin Kane – Palm Beach Improv, West Palm Beach
One of the nation’s top insult comics, Kane is best known for his in-your-face delivery and off-the-cuff crowd work. Featuring an unlikely blend of piercing bite and authentic heart, Kane’s R-rated act tackles sex, relationships, race… and everyone who is brave enough to sit in the front row. Kane made his film debut in a breakout role opposite Kevin Hart in “The Wedding Ringer ” which was the No. 1 comedy in America for three weeks. He has a special on Showtime, won Howard Stern’s “Kill or Be Killed” comedy competition, and performs for America’s troops whenever possible through the Wounded Warrior Project. Ticket prices for the 8 p.m. show begin at $20.

Mike Rivera – Creole Garden, Tamarac
As seen on “The View,” Rivera was Voted America’s Funniest Teacher. Rivera is a versatile performer who brings high energy with a brazen sense of humor. Drew Illa is the feature comic, and Andrew Mesa serves as host. Creole Garden is located in the heart of Tamarac. It serves some of the freshest, healthiest, and best taste creole food in Florida. Advance tickets are $15 in advance via Eventbrite. They are $20 at the door. Can’t catch Rivera on this show? He’s also performing the following night at Undergrounds Coffeehaus in Fort Lauderdale.

LA Hardy – Sunrise Theatre, Fort Pierce
Hardy has his own Dry Bar Comedy Special, “French Fries & Tater Tots,” and has appeared on ABC, BET, Comic’s Unleashed, FOX, ESPN and more. A veteran and versatile performer Hardy has appeared on Comic’s On Duty Tour and was the second group of civilians to visit Iraq in 2003. The group performed 28 shows in 30 days in a variety of venues there. He has traveled with, and performed for, the US military in over 35 countries. In his words “I do it for the people.” Tickets for the 8 p.m. show are $25 in advance, $30 at the door.
