BOCA RATON – This week’s forecast calls for a spree of laughter west of Boca Raton.

That’s because the week of Laughing Spree Fest is finally upon South Florida.

Laughing Spree is a self-contained festival that beings on Friday at Sunset Cove Amphitheater, west of Boca Raton, and runs through Saturday.

The festival features three shows in a two-day period, headlined by three of the nation’s biggest comics. Bryan Callen headlines Friday night’s show. Jim Norton headlines Saturday’s early show. Andrew Schulz closes the festival on Saturday night.

Line-ups on both days offer comics with South Florida ties. Yamaneika, Sean Grant, Cam Bertrand, Esther Ku and Vince Taylor are scheduled for Friday night.

Show producers Minda and Warren Scott open Saturday’s early show, with Jeff Dye, Bret Ernst, Freddy Stebbins to follow.

Saturdays’ closing show includes Orlando Leyba, Leah Lamarr, Mark Gagnon, Dan Long and Jackie Sanchez.

Tickets for the weekend are a bit pricey, but comedy fans will likely find the money to be well spent. Individual tickets for Friday’s show begin at $60, with VIP packages running $115. The combo ticket for both of Saturday’s shows runs $99. Tickets to see only the festival’s final show headlined by Schulz are $69.99. Daily parking passes begin at $20.

VIP packages are available for both Saturday shows. Full two-day passes begin at $199. Event organizes are extending their Black Friday sale at least through Monday. Enter the coupon code BLACKFRIDAY when purchasing tickets to receive 20% off.

The festival offers a little something for every comedy fan. Laughing Spree could prove to be the South Florida comedy highlight of the year.
