DELRAY BEACH – If there’s one thing Cam Bertrand knows he’s good at – aside from comedy – it’s complaining.

So good, in fact, that he turned his complaints into a podcast.

“I complain about things that don’t really matter all the time,” Bertrand says in the opening of the latest episode of his podcast, “Hey Let’s Complain.”

In the above video Bertrand discusses his podcast in further detail.

Episode 14 of “Hey Let’s Complain” dropped Tuesday night, fortuitous timing for South Florida comedy fans.

Bertrand, the reigning Florida’s Funniest comic, returns to South Florida at the end of the week for two shows. On Friday Bertrand headlines the show at Martin Downs in Palm Bay. The following night he’s at the Sunrise Theatre in Fort Pierce.

Those still on the fence about whether to see either of those shows can take this opportunity to listen to “Hey Let’s Complain” over the next few days to learn what awaits audiences those nights.

On this latest episode, which runs a little more than one hour, Bertrand and friend Mike Stevens discuss quitting comedy to start their own airline. Air travel, Bertrand notes, takes up a large portion of his life now that the Tampa-based comic is performing nationally.

Bertrand’s appearance on America’s Got Talent certainly increased his drawing power nationally. But Bertrand admits that busy schedule hinders his podcast, limiting his ability to record episodes.

The first episode of “Hey Let’s Complain” debuted in March. While Bertrand has a goal of producing an episode every week or two, the most recent episode prior to the one dropped on Tuesday was all the way back in early August.

A busy schedule isn’t the only obstacle slowing production. Bertrand readily admits that his desire to make each episode as perfect as it can be often slows the process, too.

No matter how often new episodes of Hey Let’s Complain are released, they are worth the listen. Take an hour over the next couple days to hear what Bertrands’ all about. Then go see him live on Friday or Saturday.

After all, his shows are the Applause Planner Pick of the Week.
