DELRAY BEACH – Mark Normand is unquestionably one of the hottest comics in America right now.

This weekend he’s bringing that heat to Dania.

Normand’s observational comedy will be on full display when he performs five times at the Dania Improv, beginning Thursday.

He’ll entertain without trying to impart some sort of social message.

“We all just want to laugh,” Normand said. “We want to be entertained.”

Normand’s one-hour special “Out To Lunch” is rapidly approaching 10 million views. He previously had a one-hour and a half hour Comedy Central special and has been a regular on the late night television talk show circuit.

The Normand appearance should be one of the year’s top shows and the Dania Improv is a fantastic new venue for comedy, so this is a great match. Normand’s performing once on Thursday, with two shows apiece on Friday and Saturday.

The Applause Planner didn’t have to think long about picking this set of performances as the highlight of the week.

Ticket prices start at $30.
