Red Red (Or White) Wine

South Florida comics and CCW wrestlers celebrate National Drink Wine Day in this funny video.

DELRAY BEACH – Wine is more than fine today.

Friday, February 18 is National Drink Wine Day. We can all drink to that – especially South Florida comics.

Lukas Jason, Rodney Badger, Mark Christopher, Perry Sak and Nileja do their best to help everyone celebrate Drink Wine Day in the above Applause Break funny video. Once again the comics are joined by a couple of Coastal Championship Wrestling mainstays. Cha Cha Charlie and Ariel Levy are both CCW title holders. Levy even offers a plug for wine from his home country of Chile.

So enjoy a glass or two of wine today. It doesn’t matter whether it’s red or white, cabernet or chardonnay.

Some consider wine to be one of the great discoveries of mankind. The first wine is believed to have been produced in China in 7000 BC. That wine was derived from rice. Today, most wine comes from grapes. Initially, nearly all wine was fermented in villages for personal or familial use. The oldest known winery dates back to around 4100 BC in Armenia.

While Americans drink more than their fair share of wine, the United States is only the fourth most prolific wine producing country, behind Italy, France and Spain. Chile, incidentally, comes in ninth.

How to celebrate National Drink Wine Day? Like many Americans would have done anyway, celebrate the end of the work week with a glass of wine. Or two. Try a new bottle of wine. Maybe take a bottle to a friend.

And when posting on social media, use the hashtag #NationalDrinkWineDay.
