DELRAY BEACH – Chris Tucker has been cracking audiences up for nearly three decades, and he’s showing no signs of letting up.

Want proof? Head to the Seminole Hard Rock Hotel and Casino on Thursday and catch Tucker’s act in person.

Tucker’s 2015 Netflix stand-up special garnered strong reviews, but many may only know him from his film performances.

Internationally known for his role of Detective James Carter in the “Rush Hour” franchise, Tucker began his career in the early 1990s when he became a favorite on Russell Simmons’ HBO “Def Comedy Jam.” He rose to national prominence with his first starring role, alongside Ice Cube, in the 1995 cult classic “Friday.”

In 1997, Tucker executive produced and co-starred with Charlie Sheen in the hit movie “Money Talks” and later appeared in Luc Besson’s internationally successful film “The Fifth Element.” He also co-starred in the 2013 Oscar-nominated film “Silver Linings Playbook.”

Ticket prices for the 8 p.m. show range from $55-$95.
