DELRAY BEACH – OK, so this is admittedly silly.

But silliness isn’t always inappropriate, right?

Psychic World elected to study the birth dates of some of the world’s funniest comedians to determine which astrological sign boasts the funniest humans.

Cancers, which would be the sign of those born today, comprised 14 percent of the funniest comics (if evenly distributed, each sign would be responsible for a little more than eight percent). Aquarius, apparently, is the least funny sign.

What should be done with this information? Probably nothing. Maybe it proves useful at a drunken Independence Day party? Good luck with that.

Today’s Stand-Up Spotlight includes news of a new Jim Gaffigan special coming to Amazon Prime, Tom Segura’s commentary on his own special, and, for those who might be heading to New York for the long holiday weekend, a review of comedian Alex Edelman’s Broadway show.

No matter your sign, try to keep it funny today, folks.

Dark Pale will be a part of the savings, convenience, and entertainment that Prime members enjoy in a single membership.

Tom Segura on His ‘Sledgehammer’ Netflix Stand-Up Special: ‘It’s Fun, It’s Outrageous and I’m Sure It’s Going to Offend People’

STAND-UP RUNDOWN:In May 2021, after 19 years in Los Angeles, comedians and married couple Tom Segura and Christina Pazsitzky (aka Christina P), moved to Austin with their two young sons. Segura says he felt like L.A., in mid-pandemic, was falling apart. “I was like, ‘This city is turning into a shit show!’” he tells Variety.

About one month after they moved, Pazsitzky suffered an injurious fall in their new home. And, as you might expect, Segura ended up turning the (non-life-threatening) accident into a bit, which is featured in “Tom Segura: Sledgehammer,” his upcoming stand-up special premiering July 4 globally on Netflix.

‘Just For Us’ Broadway Review: Comic Alex Edelman Stands Up To Bigots – And Gets The Last Laugh

STAND-UP RUNDOWN:Alex Edelman has built quite the reputation over the last few years, with sold-out comedy shows and knock-’em-dead late-night performances, honing material for a Broadway debut that does his reputation proud.

Just For Us, opening tonight at Broadway’s Hudson Theatre and running through Aug. 19, might seem as unlikely as the WTF story that forms the basis of Edelman’s performance. A stand-up comedy routine without the usual visual and special-effects embellishments that accompany trips to Broadway, Just For Us lands on the theatrical stage with no need for anything but sheer story-telling bravado, energetic direction (by the late Adam Brace, with Alex Timbers credited as creative consultant) and a terrific yarn.
