Peppercomm founder & CEO Steve Cody, stand-up comic and chief comedy officer Clayton Fletcher, co-authors of “The ROI of LOL,” say that humor and laughter are essential in the workplace and can drive effective leadership.

In our latest installment of the Taking the Lead video podcast, they discussed the need to infuse workplaces with laughter and humor, while sharing related leadership insights. Not surprisingly, we had many laughs while recording it. Here are excerpts from the full video interview:

It was one of the most popular sitcoms of the 1990s, and now three decades later the Seinfeld revival may finally be on the way. Created by Larry David (Curb Your Enthusiasm) and Jerry Seinfeld (Bee Movie), Seinfeld dominated the TV comedy schedule throughout its 1989-1998 run, with its only serious competitor being Friends from 1994 onwards. Seinfeld started Jerry Seinfeld as a fictionalized version of himself. It was a character-driven sitcom whose USP was the in-universe stand-up sets delivered by Jerry Seinfeld in each episode.
