NORTH PALM BEACH – Dean Napolitano is one of the nation’s best comics. Jennifer Hellman produces some of the best comedy shows in South Florida.

On Thursday the duo combines to create the Lettuce Laugh show, which also benefits the charity, Comics Crushing Cancer.

Let’s see. Truly funny, well produced and benefits a great cause? What’s not to like?

This is the third of Hellman’s Lettuce Laugh shows at the Farmer’s Table in North Palm. Hellman’s already displayed the ability to get big names – Dale Jones and Mike Vecchione performed in the first two shows – to play in this magnificent setting with a golf course view.

And as a bonus, one of South Florida’s top local comics, Jackie Sanchez, is also scheduled to perform.

Hellman always has multiple sponsors for the show, which leads to wonderful door prizes and giveaways. And money raised from the show benefits Hellman’s non-profit organization Comics Crushing Cancer, which helps people dealing with cancer by paying for incidental unexpected costs (lost wages, utility bills, clothing) associated with battling cancer.

Doors open at 7 p.m. and the show starts at 8. Tickets for the event are $25 and if the last two shows are any indication the room will be packed, so it’s advisable to get tickets in advance.

Anyone who’s seen Napolitano perform knows the night will be entertaining. Anyone yet to see Napolitano, this is the perfect time.
