WEST PALM BEACH, Fla. – Jimmy Shubert closed his The Departed Tour on Tuesday to rave reviews in front of about 200 people at the Palm Beach Improv.
Shubert powered his way through 45 minutes of non-stop comedy – and that followed great sets from locals Nadeem Awad and Jay Guy, along with host David Sadman of Sadman Comedy Productions.
The show marked the largest audience for the Departed Tour, and everyone was abuzz afterward.
“Good crowd for a Tuesday,” Shubert said afterward. “It was nice to perform in front of people again. Real people. Live people. No zoom shows. Real audience members.”
Applause Break caught up with all four comics following the show to get their reviews. Tracking them down wasn’t difficult. All four meandered to the adjacent Copper Blues for post-show libations with the fans.
